Chardonnay, with an attitude. It wafts from the glass with notes of baked apple, starfruit, golden pear, peach, brioche, vanilla pod, and bacon, underlined by a botanical quality. The oak frames the mid-palate judiciously and stretches the chalky finish beautifully. This full-bodied, structured Chardonnay offers softness, flesh, and a phenolic bite. Try it with bacon-and-leek quiche, smoked duck breast, salmon pie, schnitzel, or mashed potatoes.
